IABG Teleport is a leading provider of highly available and secure satellite data services. For 25 years, we have been enabling our customers to transmit information over long distances, even in remote or hard-to-reach areas where conventional communication infrastructure may not be available.
We are looking for a Network Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Network Operations Team at our Ottobrunn site near Munich as soon as possible.
As part of the Network Operations Centre (NOC) team, you will monitor the operation of IT services and satellite data links. You will be the first point of contact for our customers and will handle fault and incident reports. You have in-depth knowledge of IP, and are familiar with routing protocols and network technology. You enjoy working directly with customers and have a strong service-oriented approach.
Qualifications:
- Training as an IT specialist, telecommunications technician or comparable qualification
- Very good understanding of IP and routing, as well as strong technical understanding and interest
- Very good command of German, good written and spoken English

Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and processing customer enquiries via the ticketing system, telephone and chat
- Troubleshooting data links in collaboration with the customers’ contact persons and with the support of our technical experts.
- Supporting the setup, commissioning and subsequent documentation of the entire transmission and reception chain, with a focus on IP technology
- Participation in on-call duty
